     Kannawidan is a festivity which the City of Vigan celebrates every year. In this festival, the Ilocano people showcase cultural shows, native products and talents of the ilocanos.      Kannawidan Festival, a week-long celebration that celebrates and preserves stunning culture, customs and tradition of Ilocanos. During this festival different activities I held. This activities includes different competitions such as quiz bee, essay writing, painting and many more.      This is such a great and important occasion for all the Ilocanos. Because this is the time to reminisce our past, our culture and to treasure it for this is our identity. This is who we are, Ilocanos.

      Change happens whether we like it or not and regardless of whether we do anything about it. Tomorrow will be different than today.       Changing the world begins with improving who we are on the inside. We each have a unique identity and our own distinct thoughts. These thoughts often propel us to act. So, by mindfully centering our thoughts in a positive direction, we can improve our actions and thus our character.        We can lead change and make our world a better place if we start with ourselves.

      Where am I lacking, what needs to be improved, what should be controlled etc. so asking ‘what should my new year resolution be’ is a waste of time. Even if somebody suggested, you might fail to complete it as it didn’t come from you. You got to find answer yourself and that should come from within.       This will be the saddest and happiest part of my junior highschool because this year were moving up to senior highschool which means that me and my junior highschool classmates will be seperated from each other because of the school their choosing and the strand they're taking so that would be sad but the good part is meeting new people in our senior year. New classmates, New teachers, etc. I as a grade 10 student this is hard but we need to find new people in our lives, this also means that mayve I'll change a little bit in terms of attitude this year I will be more focus on my studies so that's a good thing, I am doing this because I want to make my parents proud.
